The day starts with a welcome and breakfast, where you get the opportunity to meet the other participants and the teacher. We will then go in depth with the preparation prior to the anesthesia procedure, including important aspects such as pre-examination, pre-medication and other relevant considerations.
We will also present you with a number of exciting case examples where we go through both standing sedation and throwing in the field.
Kruuse is the sponsor.

TEACHERS
Anja Styhm Olesen is a VSP with both international and Danish postgraduate training in anaesthesia. She has worked at horse hospitals here at home and for several years had Vet anesthesia, where she could be booked freelance for operations and further training. Anja has sedated and anesthetized more than 15,000 horses, so there is not much that she has not experienced in practice. Anja is also an experienced lecturer, so we are in safe hands when she guides us through anesthesia on a horse.
