Prima-Flex syringe – a versatile syringe with excellent ergonomics
The Prima-Flex syringe is a new, versatile syringe that can be used both with a feeding tube and as an automatic syringe with an attached bottle holder. The bottle holder is positioned at the rear of the syringe, keeping the centre of gravity close to the hand and thereby minimising strain on the wrist.
The syringe is supplied as standard with a metal needle adaptor (Luer lock), the full range of bottle collars in 20, 30, and 33 mm, as well as 20 and 30 mm fixed-fit bottle holders and a spike for bottle mounting. It also includes a complete set for use with a feeding tube: adaptor, springs, and the feeding tube itself made of soft medical-grade plastic.
The Prima-Flex 15 ml syringe is adjustable in 0.5 ml increments from 5.5 to 15 ml.
